My vision for my students is for them to embrace a concept of hard work, focus and consideration coupled with initiative and commitment in everything that they do. My job has become wider scoped as parents & carers become busier & school teachers boundaries more restricted. Dance study in itself commands a high level of work ethic & intelligence, it is for this reason that the theatrical examinations are now accredited by Ofqual, thus carrying points for tertiary education in the UK. My students are encouraged to excel in the field of dance while also understanding the academic outcomes are equally important. It is expected that the work ethic learned in dance study finds its way to the academic ‘classroom’. My wish is to see each student who has completed their course of study under my care enter the next phase of their lives having reached their fullest potential in every respect.
